This January 29th we participated in an expansive event that brought together organizations, charities, service groups, and other agencies all under one roof. It was an opportunity for the public to hear directly on “what YOU can DO NOW.” The Progressive Social Network of KC welcomed a variety of groups at this open house style event, and attendees were able to get information and even sign up to join and/or volunteer with groups.

KC Interfaith Vigil for Immigrants and Refugees Indivisible KC: Guest Speakers
On February 5, the Greater Kansas City community came together to show support for immigrants and refugees. Speakers included; KC for Refugees, Kansas City Interfaith Council, Catholic Charities, Jewish Vocational Services, Della Lamb, Crescent Peace Society, New Reform Temple, Overland Park Christian Church, Kansas City Oasis, Rime Buddhist Center, and Indivisible KC.

This President's Day, Kansas City came together to demand an investigation into the constitutional conflicts, ethics violations and mental instability of the current President of The United States. This was to be an informative gathering to hear from grassroots local and national organizations such as; Indivisible KC, Kansas City Progressive Caucus, The Muslim Civic Initiative, UMKC Associate law professor Edward Cantu, and private citizens just like you. Citizens came to find clarity, community support and a way forward.
